Empowering and De-stressing - Tools for the Workplace

These proven tools are designed to provide opportunities for business owners to transform their companies through changing workplace dynamics. An affordable, in terms of time and cost, means to increase productivity, health and well-being, and ultimately profit for the whole team.

Workshop cost: $110 per person with a ten-person minimum. Possible additional costs for travel and expenses.

Ten workshop topics available in 2-hour format:
The first three workshops have at their core an intention to empower the worker to de-stress their lives. Americans are facing more intense stress than ever before with family demands, job insecurity, health care concerns, security threats. Studies show that pent-up stress left unmanaged can manifest general aches and pains, headaches, high blood pressure, obesity, respiratory disease, mental illness and heart disease.

It's a matter of attitude
Who's in charge? How do you perceive yourself at work? Are you waiting to be "discovered" as not qualified, disinterested, deadwood? Who are you in your family, community? In this hour we explore self-definitions and self-perceptions. We begin to evaluate what we bring to the work and home environment. Answer the question, what is your contribution? Goal: Diffuse the power of illusion. Get a reality check, what is the nature of the current circumstance? What abilities do you have? How do you benefit from your patterns of behavior? Should you change your pattern?


Mind/Body Connection
This hour explores the power of the mind to enhance or diminish health and provides skills to develop self-organizing and self-orchestrating abilities. Goal: Empower the attendee with tools to utilize when facing a challenge, pattern-interrupts that will break the hold of doubt or the power of stress. Our intention is to give her the experience of the power of her own mind-body connection.

Awakening the Body's Wisdom
This workshop continues to build on the mind/body connection and discusses skills for sustained well being, such as, Breathwork, autogenic training, positive self-talk, and self-care. Goal: To continue the skill-set building of empowering well being.

Improving Memory
This hour focuses on improving memory. Priming the memory banks for cognitive clarity and mental acuity. Research indicates that the more we recall and actively pursue memories from childhood the greater our capacity to retain, recall and process new information. Goal: Activate patterns of memory building and recall facilitating greater capacities for clear thinking and processing.

Managing Time
This hour will offer the opportunity to develop a new relationship with time, empowering the attendee to master time rather than the common experience of time controlling us. Goal: To equip the attendees with simple skills to manage their response to time demands giving them with greater control over their own schedules, reducing stress and increasing their productivity.

Rediscovering A Creative Life
This workshop will explore creativity from the perspective of an innate ability. Emphasizing the benefits of living and relating to life as a creative endeavor, participants will reconnect with the perspective of childhood and bring that vision into their present lives. Goal: To begin to enrich their lives, private and professional with greater vision and satisfaction.

Dynamic Communication
In this hour we will begin the experience of dynamic communication, hearing and being heard. Tools for conflict resolution and proficiency in clear communication will be provided. Goal: To provide attendees with the experience of tools that open lines of communication where common ground and goals are revealed and new directions discovered. Create the opportunity to practice asking difficult questions and experience success in being heard, building confidence.

What have you been thinking? Power of Intention
This workshop will explore mind/body connection and the power of our thoughts and intention to create health or illness. Goals: To explore the power of thought giving the attendee the understanding of the relationship between their thoughts and their lives and to offer methods and tools to move into more healthy ways of being. These tools provide the opportunity to substantially change their thoughts, their choices and their lives.

Finding Balance
This hour will explore the balance between work and play, health and responsibility. Assessing roles, reframing responsibility, and making room for joy. Goal: To reveal the defining beliefs about the woman's role in family and at work. Evaluate the myths and the reality as defined by our bodies and to begin to craft a new definition of the role that includes health, joy and self-care.

Dealing with Change
This hour will explore the physical impacts of change. We will provide tools to cope and move out of old patterns, reframing experiences and making transition a welcomed opportunity. Goal: To empower women to embrace that change is part of life and that their strength and well-being is anchored within them. To give them the experience of themselves beyond just surviving to thriving.
